FELLSIDE EVENTS LTD. EVENT ENTRY TERMS AND CONDITIONS


By registering for one of our events, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.


Participation in our events

You agree that you will follow all latest, relevant government guidelines regarding Covid-19 and will not attend the event if you are displaying any symptoms of the virus or have been told you must self-isolate.


You agree that you will follow any additional procedures at the event which have been implemented to ensure the events operate in a 'Covid-secure way' and which will be included in the race briefing notes you are sent.


You agree to keep your 'Competitor Details' held on our entry system up-to-date with your Telephone Number an Emergency Contact Name and Telephone number.


Our Events take place on well-marked tracks and paths which may include rough terrain, climbs and descents, and which can take place in inclement weather conditions. You agree that you are fit and well, physically capable of taking part in the Event and are solely responsible for your actions. Fellside Events Ltd is not responsible for any injury or illness that you may suffer because of your participation unless it is as a result of our negligence.


Our Events take place on public rights of way and rely on the support of locals (including the land owners) and the hard work of our crew for their success. You agree you will be polite and courteous at all times and follow instructions given by marshals or crew. Any competitor found to be behaving in an inappropriate way will have their entry cancelled or be disqualified without refund and may be prevented from entering future Fellside Events races.


The event entry fee is individual to you, non-refundable and non-transferrable except at our discretion in the limited circumstances outlined below.



Refunds and Cancellations

For all events, you have the option to cancel your entry.


For all events provided we are informed by email no less than 3 weeks before the event, a full refund will be made, subject to a £10 administration fee.


Cancellations requested less than 3 weeks before any event will not be permitted.


Race Transfers

Transfer of individual entries between different events is permitted, subject to availability, providing we are informed by e-mail no less than 3 weeks before the event you wish to transfer from. When transferring to a higher value race, the difference in cost is payable in advance of the event.


Deferral of individual entries to a different event is permitted provided we are informed no less than 3 weeks before the booked event. We are only able to permit one deferral per entry.


Competitors using someone else's number can have serious consequences in the event of a medical emergency. The accuracy of the race results is also affected when competitors are placed in the wrong age or gender category. Any competitor using someone else's number will be disqualified.


Race Alteration or Cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel entry applications, or alter the date of the event, the course route or the distance if necessary. If the event is forced to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, for example bad weather, then all entries will automatically be transferred to the new date.


Data Protection

Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018. Fellside Events Ltd will only use and share your information to process entries into our Events, ensuring your safety during the Event and keeping you informed by email. Your information will not be shared with third parties for any other reasons.
